Cattle Australia congratulates seven new graduates from its 2025-2026 National Beef Leaders program. As the sector navigates rapid change, global competition and increasing expectations around sustainability, the recent graduates are well equipped to step into influential roles shaping the future of one of Australia’s most important agricultural industries.
Recognised as Cattle Australia’s flagship leadership initiative, the program brings together talented young professionals from across the beef industry and provides practical experience in leadership, representation, policy development, governance and media engagement.
Cattle Australia Chair Garry Edwards said the graduating cohort had demonstrated a strong commitment to both their own professional development and the long-term success of the Australian beef industry.
“The National Beef Leaders program is about investing in the people who will help lead our industry into the future, and this group has embraced every opportunity,” Mr Edwards said.
“Over the past 12 months, they’ve challenged themselves, built valuable industry connections and developed the skills needed to confidently represent Australian beef producers.
This cohort not only showcases their passion for the industry, but their willingness to contribute to its future growth and success.
They bring fresh ideas, diverse experiences and a genuine commitment to ensuring the beef industry remains strong, sustainable and globally competitive.
We look forward to seeing the impact these leaders make in their businesses, communities and across the broader industry in the years ahead.”
