Australian Good Meat’s Smart Farming term 1 virtual classroom program will host six sessions featuring a great line up of producer guests including Hugh Dawson, Robert Mackenzie and Deb Gray.
The term 1 program runs from 28-30 March with sessions tailored specifically for primary school students to get an introduction into red meat farming and learn about the modern technology and sustainable production methods used across the industry.
Hosted on Zoom, these free 30-minute curriculum-linked sessions, provide a perfect introduction to key topics of food production, sustainable farming practices and the types of farming technology. Students will have the opportunity to talk directly with a farmer, complete quizzes and importantly learn more about where their food comes from, all from the classroom or at home. The virtual classrooms will be used to promote the new suite of Australian Good Meat teaching resources.
Teachers can use the program booking page to include their students in the virtual classroom.
