Four beef industry stakeholders have made it through as finalists in the 2023 National Banksia Sustainability Awards. The Award is Australia’s longest-running and most prestigious sustainability award.
Representing our industry are:
- HW Greenham & Sons, VIC – a finalist in both the Agriculture & Regional Development and the Ethical Sourcing Awards – Greenham’s introduction of the Beef Sustainability Standard will deliver plant positive beef to global customers.
- Paradigm Foods, QLD – a finalist in the Marketing and Communications for Impact Award – Paradigm Food’s engaging launch campaign of Roots Regenerative, a dedicated regenerative grassfed beef brand.
- FutureFeed, QLD – a finalist in the Net Zero Leadership Award – FutureFeed is paving the way for an entirely new industry: Asparagopsis seaweed as a livestock feed ingredient to drastically reduce methane emissions.
- Leather Cattle Co, QLD – a finalist in the SME Sustainable Leadership Award – Leather Cattle Co leads by example in the sustainable production of beef through excellence in environmental stewardship, animal management and increased productivity.
The Banksia National Sustainability Awards recognise individuals, communities, businesses and government for innovation and excellence in environmental and social stewardship. Our finalists have been selected from a record number of entries in this year’s Award. The winners of the 34th Banksia National Awards will be announced at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on the night of Thursday 23rd March.
