Australian Good Meat’s Smart Farming term 3 virtual classroom program will host six sessions featuring a great line up of producer guests including Hugh Dawson, Tim Eyes, Fiona Aveyard, Mark Wootton, Mel McGorman, Brad Swadesir, Kate Spry and Zac McInerny.
The term 3 program runs from 30 August to 7 September, with sessions tailored specifically for primary school students to get an introduction into red meat farming and learn about the modern technology and sustainable production methods used across the industry.
Hosted on Zoom, these free 30-minute curriculum-linked sessions, provide a perfect introduction to key topics of food production, sustainable farming practices and the types of farming technology. Students will have the opportunity to talk directly with a farmer, complete quizzes and importantly learn more about where their food comes from, all from the classroom or at home.
